A Couple of Forevers..

"Good morning." SB said as he bent down and pecked her lips. Nicki smiled when their lips broke apart before gently putting her hand behind his neck to pull him into another peck. "Happy Anniversary." She dropped her head back to the pillow and gave a small smile that was identical to Safaree's.

"Happy Anniversary." she said through her lazy smile while adjusting herself in the bed. She pulled the covers up to her neck as she yawned. SB watched her as she did her morning routine. She closed her eyes for a minute and sat there and sighed. She threw the covers off of herself and popped up in the bed as if she's been alert for at least an hour now. She ran her hand over her messy hair and leaned back on the palm of her hands. "Our bed is way too comfortable." she said before letting out a lazy laugh. She grabbed her phone off of the nightstand before heading to the bathroom.

Safaree sat down the first bouquet of roses on the bed. He grabbed Nicki's phone that was sitting on her nightstand and placed it on the dresser. He took a step back near the bed and grabbed the first bouquet of roses and placed it on the nightstand. He stepped around the bed and picked up the other bouquet he sat on the bed. He picked up the roses and placed it on the other nightstand before Nicki's singing from the shower caught his attention. He stepped back towards the bathroom and smirked as he heard Nicki singing along to the music that was blasting in the bathroom from her beatspill. He listened to Nicki singing along to Chrisette Michele's  A Couple of Forevers. "Nothing can stop love from loving on ussssssss.." she sung along to the lyrics softly. Safaree leaned against the wall and folded his arms across his chest. Nicki felt his presence and smiled as she continued to clean the soap off her body. "I'm the only one, you're the only one.." Nicki before he pointed to SB and smiled with a giggle escaping shortly. She turned her attention back to the shower head and continued to clean herself. SB shook his head before he pushed himself off of the wall. He turned and stepped out of the bathroom.

Nicki stepped out of the bathroom with the towel wrapped around her waist. She gave a silent "awww" as she spotted the roses on the nightstand. She stepped up to Safaree's side of the nightstand that had a red card posted up with black lettering. She picked it up and read it.

“It’s one thing to fall in love. It’s another to feel someone else fall in love with you, and to feel a responsibility toward that love.”

 

She placed the card down on the nightstand and made sure she adjusted the card so that it was sitting pretty like how she found it. She tightened the towel around her body before she turned around and made her way into the closet to get dressed for the day.

Nicki walked down the steps holding onto the rail with every step. As she hit the bottom she turned into the kitchen. She spotted SB seated at the table with a bouquet of roses sitting in the middle of the table that was bigger than the two that was in the bedroom. A brown teddy bear with a red bow tie sat next to the roses. She stepped around the table before bending down and pecking SB on the lips.

"My sexy man." Nicki said before moved to the side and picked up the teddy bear. "I wanted this one!" Nicki said as she got a closer look at the teddy bear that's eyes were heart shaped. She hugged the teddy bear and looked down at SB. "I don't know what to call this one." She said with a pout before releasing the bear she was holding so tightly.

"Ted." SB said speaking up. She looked up and twisted her lips. She smiled as if a thought came to her mind and she looked down at him.

"My little Faree." Nicki said with a pout and she ran her hands over the ears of the teddy bear.

"Little Gali would've been so dope."

Nicki rolled her eyes and sat the teddy bear down. She placed her hands on the back of the chair and stared down at SB.

"Am I eating by myself or you gonna sit down? SB said before releasing a light chuckle.

"I think I wanna give you your first gift. Hmmm.." Nicki said before putting a finger on her chin. She giggled before dropping her hand to her side. She pushed away from the chair. "I'll be right back." She turned around and did a quick walk to the hall nearest the kitchen. She opened the closet the closet door and pulled out his gift before closing. "You've been talking about getting this backpack made for I don't know how long..." Nicki started off as she came into view with a motorcycle backpack. SB's eyes immediately fell onto the stunt logo of his and he smirked as he nodded his head. "So I got it made for you."

"Yooooooo." SB said as his hands reached out for the backpack. Nicki smiled at his face and released the backpack before taking a seat at the table. She leaned her arm on the table and rested her head against her hand.

"There's another gift inside." Nicki said as her free hand shot up and pointed to the backpack in his hands. He sat it down in his lap as he unzipped the bag. SB pulled out a box and smirked knowing what it was. He sat it on the table and opened it up. It was a rose gold Rolex presidential. "Pull it out and turn it over." he pulled the watch out and slid it off the holder and turned it over. He nodded with a smirk on his face at the date being engraved on the back of the watch.

"This is so dope." SB said before placing the watch back on the holder. "This shit is boss. I love it." he said before closing the box and placing it back inside the backpack. He sat the backpack to the side before he looked at Nicki. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, baby." Nicki said as she continued to stare at him. "Can you believe it's really been ten years?"

"Nah." SB said shaking his head. Nicki picked up a piece of bacon off her plate and bit off of it.

"Did you think we would last this long?"

"Nah."

"What?!" Nicki's attention shot from her plate to SB. He laughed at the expression on her face.

"I didn't even think we'd last 6 months. We was always arguing back then."

"Yeah but that's because you were such a jerk."

"Hey!" SB said before he stuffed a piece from his waffle into his mouth. "I was the best friend, the best boyfriend, the best everything. You was too busy mad at the world because shit wasn't going your way."

Nicki waved him off. "Whatever. You were still mean to me. You was suppose to comfort me and tell me everything was gonna work out." Nicki said before making a pout face and furrowing her eyebrows.

"Nah. You need space when you're mad. If I would've told you that you would've just told me to shut up and say no it's not."

"You always make me out to be the evil one."

"I don't."

"You do."

"Alright. You ready for your gift?" SB said as he pushed his plate away. He leaned over and picked up the the box he had sat to the side. He picked it up and handed it to Nicki. She reached for the box in his hands before she gripped. She moved her plate to the side and sat it in front of her. She opened the box and looked at the lid that had Time Capsule Memory Box written in cursive on it.

"Heeeeey, I've always thought these were so cute." she said before she smiled. "What's in the envelopes?" she said not knowing whether she should open them now or save them for later.

"Pictures of us from the last ten years. From each year. Trips. Back in the hood. Chillin. All 'at." he said before licking his lips. "The pictures in the envelope go with the date that's on it." he said pointing at the row of envelopes.

"I don't wanna open them all now." Nicki said with a pout. She slumped her shoulders before her face went straight again. "Hmmm. I'll open one. Which should I pick?" before he could even open his mouth her hand shot up. "No, don't tell me." she said before dropping her hand. She trailed her nails over the envelopes and let her dimple show. She grabbed at the 2006 envelope and opened it. She smiled at the picture of her and SB sitting in the backyard of Candi's house. They were surrounded by everyone from their hood and everyone was either laughing at something in the picture or had a huge smile on their face. Nicki was leaned over into SB's side in the picture while she was pointing a finger at Rex.

"I remember this." Nicki laughed.

"Yeah. Y'all was clowning Rex for saying he liked Lauren." SB chuckled.

"That whole day was just crazy." Nicki said as her laugh died down as she placed the picture back into the envelope. "I'm saving the rest of these for later. Thank you. I love this gift." she reached out for his face and she placed her hand on his chin. She puckered her lips and he met her halfway, pecking her lips.

Nicki and SB laid in the movie room watching the credits roll on the screen.

"Yo, do you remember when Jelani blasted our relationship?"

"Yo, that was crazy." SB said as the memory popped up into his head.

"He was trying to get you to leave me." 

"Y'all know they dating, right?" Jelani spit out. Nicki's eyes bucked and her head snapped up in his direction. SB chuckled being caught off guard and at Nicki's reaction.

"Chile please!" Safaree's mom let out before she waved Jelani off. "Them two run around here acting like they ain't obvious to the world! Me and Carol was just talking about this."

"Wh-wait. Mommy?" Nicki said turning her attention to her mother.

"Nicki." she said before taking a sip of her drink. 

 "They run around here all up under each other anyways. If they wasn't dating by now I was gonna suggest it."

Carol laughed as she sat her cup down. Jelani pointed at Nicki with a smirk and Nicki rolled her eyes at him.

 "Why y'all keeping shit a secret?" Jelani asked as he waved his finger between Nicki and SB.

"Jelani." Carol said sternly in reference to him cursing. He sucked his teeth before turning his attention back to the two.

"Because that's MY business, Lani. If I wanted the world to know, I would've announced it." Nicki said as she picked at her plate.

"You?" Jelani said in reference to SB.

"Whatever Nicki wants to do." SB said as he shrugged. 

"You live by Nicki's rules, y'all da-" his eyes met with his moms and he shook his head. "Dang sure ain't gon last. Especially when she gets famous." Jelani said with air quotes around the word famous in reference to Nicki always saying she was gonna be a famous female rapper. "Leave her. Dump her while you can."

"Jelani!" Nicki said as she dropped her fork to the plate. "Don't say that." Nicki said in a sad voice before she placed a hand on SB's wrist.

"Jelani." Carol said giving him a look. Jelani shook his head at this being the third time he got corrected.

"No, I know these two." SB's mom said as she pointed between Nicki and SB. "They'll still be together in 10 years."

"Moms was right though." SB said as he looked over at Nicki.

"She's always right about us."

 "We're always right. Always. It's a Samuels' thing." SB said in a cocky voice with a smirk.

"So." Nicki said as she sat her wine glass down. "I was trying to think of the greatest gift to get you." she said through a nervous smile. "And I thought about it, and I thought about it, and I thought about it..." Nicki said as she placed her elbows on the table. She locked her hands and rested her chin on them. She giggled at the confused look on Safaree's face before she continued.  "I know you've wanted this gift for.." she scrunched her face up as if she was thinking. "About 3 years now. And you know I've been working on the album, I mean of course." Nicki said before letting her dimple show and shrugging. "So I thought, after we finish the album and tour and everything..." she looked into Safaree's confused face once more like he was just ready for her to spit out. She smiled. "I will be more than ready to give you a baby."

"Yooooooooo!" SB said put an elbow on the table and put a hand over his face. He held it for a moment causing Nicki's laugh to roar out. He dropped his hand from his face. "Are you serious?"

Nicki nodded. "Mhmmm." she said with a smile on her face.

"Yo. You ready?"

"Yes." Nicki said with a pout and a nod. She reached for SB's hand across the table.

"Like yo. You're really ready? Like yo?!"

"Yes, Safaree. When we are done with the album and touring, I, Onika, want to give you, Safaree, a baby." she said before she giggled. "You've wanted a baby for so long." Nicki said as she placed her elbow on the table and rested her head on her hand. "I'm ready." she said as she stared into his face. Her smile turned into a small smirk at his continuous head shaking. The more he did it caused her to laugh.  "I bet you thought this talk would never come."

"Shit." SB said shaking his head. He licked his lips and looked away before looking back at her. "Get over here." He said tugging at her hand. Nicki giggled as she stood up. She stepped around the table and fell into his lap when he pulled her to him. She wrapped her arms around him and her smile spread wider and he buried his face in her neck placing kisses all over.

"Do you love me?" Nicki said as she placed a hand on the back of his head. He stopped his kisses to look her in the face.

"Hell yeah I love you." he said before kissing her on the lips and holding it. Nicki placed her free hand on the side of his face.

"And I love you." Nicki said before pecking his lips again. "So much, Faree." she before she pecked his lips again a series of times. She broke her kiss and drop her hand from his face to her lap. "Now."  Nicki removed her other hand from behind his head. Safaree's hand moved from her waist and shot up to her arm as he helped her stand. "For your other gift." Nicki said as she took his hand. She waited for him to stand before she pulled him along. Pulling them around the table and out of the kitchen. Walking down the hall she pulled him from behind her to beside her. He dropped her hand and placed an arm around her shoulder.

"Thank you for everything today." Nicki said as she leaned her head back on his arm and looked into his face.

"Anytime, Bubz."

Nicki smiled at him calling her by that before she wiggled out of his grasp. She opened the door to the lounge/game room and turned smiling at SB while leaning on the door.

"Come inside." Nicki said with a wink before giggling and stepping to the side. He stepped into the room and saw that the Nicki had sat a chair in front of the stripper pole. She closed the door behind them. "Go wait for me." Nicki said as she pointed to the chair before she stepped off headed to the bathroom. Safaree stepped over to the chair and took a seat. He took his phone out of his pocket and looked over the notifications while he had time to spare. He hit the power button and waited for it to turn off. He tossed the phone over to the lazy boy and his attention directed towards Nicki as she stepped out of the bathroom. He glanced over her body in the black lace bra with red trimming and matching thongs.

"How do I look?"

"So sexy."

He watched her as she stepped over to the stripper pole and stepped on to the platform.

"So sexy." he repeated causing Nicki to smile. She placed her hands on the pole and seductively walked around it while holding eye contact with him.

"I had this whole dance planned for you." Nicki as she ran her hands up and down the pole as she began walking around the pole. "But then I thought..." Nicki said before she gripped the pole and leaned against it. "Why tease him any longer?" she said before she began walking around it again. "Why deprive him of allllllllllllllll this..." She stopped when she was bent down in her signature pose before she turned her attention to him.  "When it's what he's waiting for?" she said before she dipped as she went to stand. "Get over here." she said signaling him to her with her pointer finger. She smiled when he stood up licking his lips and rubbed his hands together as if he was about to dig into a meal. She extended her arms and grabbed at the back of her thighs picking her up.

"Damn you, yo." he said as he kissed over her breasts while he led them to the counter. She placed her hands on the back of his head, keeping him there to continue his kisses. He sat her down on the counter and Nicki removed her hand from his head before his pecks quickly switched to her lips. She pulled him closer to her by his pants and looked up into his face.

"I missed him. Has he missed me?" Nicki said with a pout before her face went serious. "We've been so busy." She reached into his pants and grabbed at his dick. She smirked and massaged it while looking into his face. "Nicki." he said before he sighed. "Yo." he said. Nicki smirked again and looked up into his face.

"Yes zaddy?" Nicki said before batting her eyelashes and letting out a laugh. He moved her hand out of the way before he adjusted her on the bar. Nicki grabbed him by his t-shirt and pulled him into a kiss. He wrapped an arm around her as his free hand reached up and held on to the side of her thongs. He lifted her up and she unwrapped her legs from around him and assisted him with sliding her thongs off. She leaned out of the kiss as her thongs dropped and he placed her back on the bar. "So much." Nicki said breathlessly. Safaree smirked and kissed her cheek. Nicki whimpered and held his ear, loving the feeling of him still throbbing between her legs. He leaned back and Nicki's hand instantly dropped from his ear and gripped his wrist. Safaree leaned down placing kisses all over her shoulders, neck, and face. As he placed a peck on Nicki's nose she sighed again closing her eyes moving her hand to his shoulder.

"Go shower." He said before he placed a kiss on her forehead.

"I can't." Nicki said before barely laughing. Safaree smirked and placed a firm grip on her ass. He lifted her off the bar and slapped her on the ass quickly with one hand and Nicki rested her face into his chest. She wrapped her arms around his neck and her hand gripped at her other wrist that dangled around his neck as Safaree stepped away from the bar. They both tried to regulate their breathing as Safaree continued to the bathroom. He turned to the side a bit as he bumped the half cracked door.

"Can I put you down now?"

"Shower." Nicki said as he breathing was just getting back to it's normal pace. He grabbed at the shower door and slid it to the side. He stepped inside and Nicki lifted her head up and slowly slid down his body. She leaned against him as he stepped to the side. He reached for the nobs turning the water on. He looked down at Nicki leaned against his body and wrapped an arm around her.

"10 more years?" Nicki spoke up.

"Hell yeah." he said causing a smile to spread across Nicki's face.
